Volunteers of the Transport Agents program made a presentation

Participants of the Transport Agents program of the Baku Transport Agency presented various projects for the development of public transport, road safety and the development of transport infrastructure in the capital. During the two-day event, volunteers presented projects on the theme: BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) - the use of high-speed bus transport, Limit time on public transport, Safe Road, Baku Taxi Service, Water Taxi, Transit Road Network, Creating regulated parking spaces for vehicles and a new generation automated parking system, Cycling in Baku, Project of the parking pavilion, as well as made interesting proposals on the topic: Smart Parking and Baku Travel Card. Proposals that were deemed more realistic and doable were highly appreciated. The Baku Transport Agency is implementing a volunteering program in accordance with the ASAN model, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Volunteer Activities” and on the basis of the President’s recommendation on attracting volunteers to public organizations. The goal of the volunteer program is to support volunteers in our efforts to improve the road infrastructure of the capital and to inform drivers and passengers. As part of an exciting program developed by the agency, volunteers improve their knowledge and skills through various trainings; participate in excursions and in various social events. Note that volunteers who successfully complete the 2-month program will receive practical knowledge and ultimately receive a certificate.
